National Ceiling Fan Day – 2014

By July 22, 2014November 25th, 2019No Comments

We are gearing up for the second annual National Ceiling Fan Day (NCFD) on September 18, 2014.  Last year’s launch was a major success!  We collaborated with the American Lighting Association (ALA), ENERGY STAR, Alliance to Save Energy (ASE), and many others!

Fanimation was awarded a Special Recognition Award by ENERGY STAR  for initiating and promoting the Day.  This year we’ll again be joining forces with our industry’s top fan manufacturers and nation’s largest energy-efficiency advocates to make the event even more successful.

The purpose of NCFD is to educate consumers about the benefits of fan usage and how they can save energy and money with fans year-round.  The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) recommends using ceiling fans because they consume far less electricity than other cooling appliances.  Not only is using a ceiling fan good for the environment, it’s good for your wallet too.  Operating a fan can cost as little as $1 per month.  That is quite a savings compared to approximately $100 per month to run an AC unit in a typical home.  To maximize your savings, we recommend purchasing a newer more efficient model.  Fanimation has fans that are up to 70-percent more efficient than standard models.

This year our theme is “swapping out the old for the new.”  The theme matches the launch of our new fanSync device perfectly.  Feel free to contact us if you have any questions or comments about getting involved.  Thank you for your support!
